The only reason I am alive today is because I love my children. I recognize the pure love and light that they are and essence of their divine wisdom.

We hear all the time that we have free will at any given moment. Choice. Action. Or no action.

After hearing the words, “Get your affairs in order, you have five months,” I made a choice. I chose to live. And the only reason I chose to live was because if I did not, I would miss my children too much. That was over 11 years ago.

Thank you angels who helped me that day, those weeks, those months. Thankful for the ability to make a choice and for the recall of brilliance that is me. For my light burst through from my heart and my body healed. I went from “the cancer has spread throughout your body” to “we see no evidence of cancer.”

Life changes in an instant. Every moment we are reborn. New cells. New thoughts. Or we can choose to hold on to the old thoughts and old cells and let them take over. Neither is wrong or right. But be aware, you are responsible for the choice and the work it takes to carry on. Be strong. Be brave. Be brilliant. Time is noted but do not focus on the limitations it may place on your thoughts. Simply be with it.

After I chose to live. I received healing streams of grace. And I chose to breathe. To relax my physical body so that I could integrate all that I am. What a trip!

Fast forward the trip, turn the pages of the itinerary to today. This moment. This moment in my breath, I am grateful for all. The peace of knowing the choices I’ve made were not right or wrong. Today, I chose to wake up, to move forward. And to welcome guidance and love as a part of the essence of me.

Many miracles were witnessed today. The first one was the driver of a pick up truck that chose to stop and give me space when the signs of the road pointed me in the wrong direction. The next was witnessing all of the magic in the skyways of downtown Minneapolis during the lunch hour. Beautiful souls shining their light, singing their songs and expressing themselves in the moment. I reach out to them and send them love. My personal mantra “I. O. E. O. U.” is the vowels of “I love you.” I sing it several times a day out loud or to myself.

Find your mantra of brilliant light. Sing it. Write it. Think it. Draw it in the sand. Trace it in the sky. Do it for yourself and the miracle of creation that is you.

“I am here to hold your hand. I want to be with you as you travel this journey, take you by the hand as a very small child and lead to you safety,” my grandfather said to me.

Before we continue, I want to express thank you for spending your time reading this post.

As I mentioned in “The Veil is Thin” post, I am getting to know my paternal grandfather for the first time in 55 years. He’s in spirit. I am with spirit so we communicate quite well. I feel loved and transformed. Someone told me to be grateful. And I am always, it’s just that only love and sadness exist for me. So gratitude resides within love. It’s a given.

The first evening after I was introduced to Super G, he laid the ground work and shared a bit more of his wisdom and perhaps a warm up for what was to come. I chose the name Super G because I don’t know his name. My father’s adoption papers and birth certificate do not name his birth father. But he showed me a cape and has a sense of humor and loves to protect so I call him Super G.

Here is a summary of a channeled message the day after our introduction:

Super G here . . . . aha! I love you so much. I remind you that we went back together to all the moments when you were not loved the way you should have been loved. I hold your hand and together we walk away, saying, “no thank you, I am worth more than what you are offering this moment. I am worth all the gold in Spain.” We go to a safe place where you are loved by all the angels of the multidimensional universe sprinkled with fairy dust. You are my sweet love. You are a princess worthy of the most comfortable, beautiful, delicious and joyful. Many birds flying all around you today, did you see them? They are curious as to why you did not open the door, they would have come in to sing to you. sweet caroling. boom boom boom.. hahahahaha. Just like that, they would sing to you. with kindness and love. For the wisdom of the ages is more than likely the answers to everything you ask.

When there is exponential light in the universe, it is also in equal measures with darkness but the darkness is not the evil those speak of. The darkness is simply a balance of the energy of light. Like the winter balances the summer. It is simply a time to recharge your batteries. Look to darkness by closing your eyes and knowing the truth. Much etheric wonder takes place in the darkness.

You are illuminating others with your brilliance. and when they reflect that brilliance back, it is an affirmation of your true purpose and you are living your true purpose.

Round and round you went in circles and the circles are love are love are love. Around the circles and then step outside them to spread your wings for you are no longer contained in the circle of love and light. You radiate like the beautiful illustration of the tree of light. Yes the tree of light. That is you my sweetness. And I am the grandfather of the light for I am the grandfather of you. I go beyond the light and am the essence of that which you are not able to see or imagine but simply be with it, just as you would with the subtle sensation of floating in the ocean on a beautiful sunny and calm day. The bliss of the abyss. the strength of the strong song song song song song … there we gooooooo! Take it nice and slow.

And that’s the way it goes sometimes, only Super G is much more fluent and expressive than my other spirit guides. It’s fun and exhausting at the same time. I place boundaries around the amount of time I sit at the keyboard and when the messages come through. It is only with my permission and my request. There are other ways of communicating, like the color of vehicles. Turns out that all red vehicles are signs of protection. This is new to me because previously I had interpreted red vehicles as a warning. Protection is much nicer!

Protection is much nicer. Don’t you agree? I’ve been working on feeling safe my entire life. A fleeting feeling that I gave up on at times. I feel safe now. Just like I always do when I am in the presence of my oldest son. When I am with him, it seems the world could crumble and everything would be ok in our little bubble of safety.

Safety is important when connecting with spirit guides. Just because a spirit wants to be your guide does not mean that you have to accept the guidance or invitation for it is completely a choice. The guidance of Super G, my grandfather, is very welcome and we are having fun! It’s not like I sit around at a table and we have tea together and chat about stuff. I spend a few minutes at a time typing or writing down the messages that come through. All I do is connect and let the messages flow.

Flow! Wow. I am at a time in my life where I am able to instantly manifest for the greatest good. I wondered why it was happening for me and a friend said, “Because it’s coming from your heart.” That makes me cry every time. I am so grateful.

Grateful for all the instant healing that is going on with the help of my spirit grandfather. The message was that he would hold my hand as a child and walk away from situations that were not kind and loving.

First hand-holding experience and correction was going back to the time when I was four or five years old. A visit to the doctor was in order either for an illness or school exam. My mom was in the waiting room with my little sisters. While in the room alone with the doctor, he touched me in ways no one should ever touch another.

I’ve worked on this experience before. Tried to change the effects. Tried to rid my cells of the debris. Tried to change the perception. Once I visualized burning all the records so that I was never a patient. I tried to change the rules so that the man never became a doctor. Nothing worked, I still held on to the effects. I realize why. I do not have control over what happens to others for it is their path and their life journey. I can only effect my own experience. Either interpret it differently or choose a different path.

This time, I choose a different path. A high frequency, loving path. And with my spirit grandfather, we changed the energetic vibration of the essence of being.

I choose to allow only loving, kind and gentle medical professionals and men into my life. Men specifically for many reasons. Some obvious here.

With the energy shift, comes profound healing. I now know only loving kindness at the hands of medical professionals and men. Do you know how that changes my ENTIRE LIFE? DO YOU?

Here’s a list to start it off.

  1. Confidence in myself that what I communicate will be honored
  2. My body heals quickly with the onset of an illness or injury. So instead of attacking me, my cells are strong and have a force that prevents illness or repairs damaged cells.
  3. My body has a strong immune system that changes the energy of the germs before they can become harmful
  4. Trust that I belong on this earth
  5. The physical manifestation of love is radiance and wellness
  6. The emotional manifestation of love is joy
  7. I approach medical professionals and men as equals

The list above expands. Use your imagination. I could go on and on with a list of at least 1,000 more items. The comprehension of knowing love as a small child has an exponential effect. The creation of reality is now an essence of safety, belonging, strength and love.

The strength, safety and love I could not have realized until I opened my heart to receive love. And reach out to hold the hand of my spirit guide, Super G.

Love, it’s an over-used word but it’s the only term I have at this point to describe what I know. I had a different definition in my mind of love previously. And that’s another shift. An enormous shift. It happens like the slow growth of blossoms on a tree in a gentle spring.

I can never remember being told I was loved as a child. Never. Until now with the help of a kind guide. Now, I know I am love, loved and loving.

With gratitude and grace, I get to integrate the healing of knowing only loving kindness from medical professionals and men. Plus it’s fun to visualize an awesome grandfather holding my hand and leading me to safety.

Thank you again. May you know and recall whatever it is that helps you through life.

Awareness of joy = more joy

First of all, I want to thank you for reading this passage. Thank you for your loving attention to the words I express. My number one intent is for everyone to know they are love, loved and loving.

If we manifest awareness of something, does it make it more prevalent?

Like begets like. You know. There is real truth in it. So why do we, as human beings take actions to bring on more of what we say we do not want? Is it simply a matter of, “I don’t feel good, therefore I am going communicate in such a way that you feel the same way I do.”? I’ve been there many times. But why? Seems like there is a logical first step to raise the vibration. And that is to ONLY ORGANIZE EVENTS OF KINDNESS AND LOVE.

As a point of reference, I am going to share with you one of my passions: never march or give money to a cause that brings awareness to more suffering. And there are a bunch of them. You know, yes you know.

Any kind of suffering awareness days and celebrations and events are included on my list. Not that we should ignore our loved ones, but think about what would happen if we promoted awareness of only loving kindness and joy. Honor those who experienced the situation but then DO NOT CELEBRATE THEIR SUFFERING. Oh my. Honestly, if anyone who has survived being tortured by medical treatments, was to tell you the truth, they would say they do NOT want to be pitied or re-live the experience over and over and over again. And to have the suffering celebrated. That’s ludicrous. Having statues and parks dedicated to suffering is the equivalent of having statues and parks dedicated to individuals who supported torture of others. Not to mention parades, events, RACES, organizations, funding, studies and endless other ways of creating more suffering.

STOP celebrating suffering. START celebrating loving kindness and joy. START celebrating your brilliance and light.

Yes, I can say this with complete genuine love of myself. I now and forever place a boundary on all celebrations of suffering. I only welcome loving kindness that supports my wellness and living my life to it’s fullest potential without remorse or pity.

I remember after I had completed a year of treatments, my sister pointed out a statue at a park that celebrated cancer. It was horrifying. Why, why, WHY would I want to relive the torture again and again? I choose to move forward with dignity and respect for myself. Honor the experience as that of a manifestation and then move on, knowing that I can manifest joy and wellness in my life.

When you see someone in a photo at a celebration of suffering, you’ll see them with a smile. That smile is not one of joy. It is a polite smile. Like the child who has just broken her arm smiles for a photo because she has been told over and over and over again to smile for the camera. What if, instead, the individual SCREAMED bloody horror at the camera? Would we finally get it? Would we finally realize that what we are doing to one another is completely backwards?

Being labeled as one who has suffered is discrimination. It places the person in a category. It is a label. We are not separate from one another, we are reflections of each other.

To keep the joy to ourselves is like greed. The miser who won’t give money to the poor. But once our hearts open up and we start giving, we realize there is more than enough for everyone. Have you ever, for just the pure joy and love of it, given $20 or $100 to someone just because you felt like it? Not because you wanted something in return. Not because you felt sorry for them. Just because your soul aligned with your body and mind, you reached your hand into your pocket and you extended that pure love and joy to another.

It’s simple. And profound. It takes one person and has an exponential effect, reverberating throughout all dimensions of time and space. Keep doing it over and over until that’s all there is. Simple. Keep going, no mater what. Use that resilience, that stubbornness, that passion, that anger and transform it into something that changes everything.

ManKIND! ManKIND! I’m speaking to all of you out there. I am shouting, whispering. Demonstrating. Pleading. Thanking. Choose to embrace the essence of pure love, equality and harmony. We are equal. There is no need to be better. There is no need to compete. There is enough air for all of us to breath. Enough light for all of us. Enough darkness. There is enough of all of us. For we are the light, the darkness, the air.

The Veil is Thin

Sitting in the metaphysical discussion group at a wonderful place called Guided by Angels, the question was asked, “But why did my grandfather choose to come forward now after so many years of trying to connect with him?” There sat a young woman with porcelain skin, black curly hair tied back loosely – the perfect picture of a good witch. Even her eye make up was spot on with the black details at the corners of her eyes. Oh! And her little dog lie next to her on the leather sofa, asleep. She replied, “Well, because the veil is thin.”

Metaphysical groups come in all variations, but this one was the most loving, kind and gentle group I had ever experienced. Sitting calmly with gentle gazes, on leather sofas and chairs, were nine individuals. I was new to the group, in town for the week and drawn to the location after reaching out to a friend in town. Perhaps it was me as well, for the people I see before me are reflections of myself.

This is the story of how, after 55 years, I am getting to know my paternal grandfather for the first time.

Where do I start?

When I was small, my mother would tell the story in a tone filled with pixie-like energy, “Your father is adopted you know! His name was James Michael and he has the adoption papers but he doesn’t know his real parents.” Fascinated for another 40+ years, my sister and I decided to try to stop guessing who our grandparents were and somehow talked my dad into starting the process of finding his birth parents. He had the name of the agency and other details but to find out more information, he had to contact  and make a formal request, pay a bit of money and wait.

Wait. Wait. And then the call came. The letter saying his birth family had been contacted and that it was now up to them if they choose to reach out and communicate. And she did! When my father was almost 70 years old, he got a message from his real sister! My sister and I were so excited! We found our grandmother’s name and that she had died in 1984. And from there we did ancestry research.

But the name of our grandfather was not on the records. We asked questions. We reached out every way we knew how. Was it a neighbor, a boyfriend, a one-night stand with a soldier? It was 1939 and so much was going on. Plus our grandmother was Roman Catholic. But I won’t get into that right now.

This is about my grandfather.

I mentioned the place, Guided by Angels, where the metaphysical group was meeting on a windy Thursday evening. I was drawn to the friendly people and good energy. Earlier in the week I had attended a meditation. Good one. Enjoyed it. Returned on Tuesday for a class about essential oils. Learned a lot. Returned Wednesday evening for a group called Practice your Gifts or something like that.

“What do you do in a group called that?” you ask. Well, it turned out to be a group of people who gather regularly to practice only good energy intuitive skills such as angel card readings, mediumship, quantum healing, visions, manifesting, and so much more. Light and love and only positive intent. It’s not what some of you are thinking. Nobody showed up wearing all black and wearing a pointed hat, carrying a broom. Although some might have flew in. Just kidding.

I introduced myself to the group, “I have many intuitive gifts. I’m here to help and do whatever is needed.” We were all seated on the leather sofas, some standing. Some at ease. Some anxious. And then the owner of the space invited us to gather in small groups and sit together. In the back room were four tables, two bright blue and two bright green with matching chairs.

Sitting with a two individuals, I invited the one young woman to start off with her angel card readings, which she did. Very nice. Very positive. And then I looked at the person sitting across from me and encouraged her to share her gift of channeling angelic messages by writing them down in a beautiful book. She looked at me, wrote one thing down and paused.

During the pause a woman walks over to the table, chats for a little bit and then looks me in the eyes very intensely. “I must tell you. YOU have a male spirit standing behind you. A father or grandfather. Has your father passed?” I replied, “No. He’s alive.” She said, “Well it’s your grandfather then. Your father’s father. He died of a heart condition.”

To which I replied, “Well, that’s interesting because I doubt it’s my father’s adopted father. See my father was adopted and I’ve been searching for his birth father. Years.” She replied with excitement, “Yes, that is who it is. He says he is here to protect you and be your guide. He’s very insistent. You have great gifts to share and he wants to help you. You are doing very good work.”

Wow. We’ve all seen this on TV or heard of it happening. But the most important thing is, when something like this happens to embrace with an open heart. When a very loving spirit comes through and you choose to connect and receive the love, amazing things happen. I cannot say this enough, if you choose to connect with loving spirit, it will change your life. Pure love. Not romantic love. It’s an essence that cannot be described. You simply feel it and know it. Brilliant light, comforting, beautiful, peaceful. I could go on and on. The best word is love but there has to be another way to communicate the essence because the word love is over-used.

And amazing things are happening every second of my life. At first, he came to me in my thoughts throughout the evening. “I am here to hold your hand. I want to be with you as you travel this journey, take you by the hand as a very small child and lead to you safety.” I am crying now as I type this. As I did the evening his message came through to me.

Why now? Why when I am 55 years old? Because the veil is thin? Perhaps. But more importantly for the first time in my life, I love myself. Yes. And when a person loves themselves, they receive and gift love unconditionally.

As I mentioned, I have many intuitive gifts. One of them is connecting with spirit and typing their messages to me or others. So that’s what I did the next day, I connected with my grandfather and channeled his messages. He has a lot to say. A chatter box, like me. Filled with loving kindness. I trust him.

I didn’t know what to expect. You know how you hear and are told to place an intention and then let it go? To stop trying? Well, I had done that, I had stopped looking for my grandfather and then ta da! Here he is.

He likes to be called “Super G” because he showed me a cape and to me he is a super hero.

Step by step

Step 1:     Set intention to send only healing streams of grace for the greatest good of all

Step 2:     Employ whatever ritual works for you. Sage, clearing, music, candle, essential oils, bells, drums, meditation, dancing, speaking, etc.

Step 4:     Gather materials
–     paper, pen, pencil, wood disks, Derwent colored pencils, sharpie marker, wood-burning pen, circle template, straight edge, cards, drill, length of hemp cord for wearing medallion, cup for water, small brush, and other accessories as needed/wanted.

Step 4:     Ground and trust

Step 5:    Connect with your soul or the soul of the individual you are making the symbol for.
Write name on paper. Ask for permission to create symbol and send healing
streams of grace.

Step 6:    Choose cards (optional) and draw symbol.

Step 7:    Transfer symbol to disk

Step 8:    Use wood burning pen to trace symbol

Step 9:    Embellish the medallion
–     texture with wood burning pen
–     color with watercolor pencils
–     add charms, cord, crystals, essential oils, sound vibrations

Meditation activates the ascended energy centers. Recall truth.

Play soothing nature music or Tibetan singing bowls track. Record yourself on your phone with a slow pace, giving yourself time for breathing and repeating the statements.

ILLUMINATION MEDITATION

⁃    Stand with your feet hip-distance apart or with them touching or seated with both feet on the ground.
⁃    Close your eyes. Roll your shoulders back.
⁃    Balance the right and left hemispheres of your brain. The masculine and feminine energies. Place your hands in prayer position in front of your heart. Press your thumbs into your sternum at the center of your chest.
⁃    Bend your knees slightly. Come up on the balls of your feet and then place your heels lightly on the floor.
⁃    Imagine a string pulling the top of your head up to the sky. Your spine aligning gently like a strand of beautiful pearls on the side of a strong, majestic tree.
⁃    Connect with your light within. With each breath go deeper and deeper within yourself. Feel the warm light.
⁃    Take 3 deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
⁃    Open your eyes. If you feel dizzy, please sit down.
⁃    Starting from the top of your head, tap or pat lightly from the top of your head all the way down your face, neck, arms, body, legs and down to your feet.
⁃    Pause at your feet. Breathe. Visualize a warm red light.
⁃    That warm red light extends like roots from the bottom of your feet into the earth. Your roots give stability to the earth. Feel safe and secure.
⁃    Repeat three times, “I AM SAFE. I AM MOVING FORWARD”.
⁃    Bring that warm red light up the roots through your feet and up your legs. Pat your feet and legs all the way up to your belly button. Pat. Pat. Pat.
⁃    Rest both of your hands on your belly button. Visualize an orange light. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    Here at the belly button, know you are nourished and intuitively know what you need every moment.
⁃    Repeat “I AM INSPIRED AND I AM NOURISHED.” three times.
⁃    Bring your hands out in front of you with your palms facing up. Feel a yellow light. Pause. breathe
⁃    With the yellow light, manifest all you need and know you are worthy. Accept it into every part of your being. Bring your hands together in gratitude.
⁃    Repeat “I AM WORTHY AND I AM STRONG.” three times. Pause. Breathe
⁃    Bring your hands now to your heart. Visualize the color green. Pause with your hands at your heart center at the center of your chest. Breathe.
⁃    Feel the green color within you. It fills your lungs with each breath. And with each breath it radiates out like the branches of a magnificent tree. Visualize the green light extending out as far as you can imagine and further. You are receiving unconditional love, peace and compassion.
⁃    Move your hands out and up as if they are the branches of a beautiful tree. The green leaves giving life. Sway and soar with the air currents.
⁃    Repeat three times “I AM LOVED. I AM ACCEPTED.”
⁃    Bring your hands up each arm, wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a hug. Receive that green light full of unconditional love and compassion. Pause. Breathe it all in.
⁃    Move your hands up to your face. Place a hand on each cheek. Visualize a silver blue light. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    This silver blue light radiates out from your 3rd eye. Visualize  the silver blue light that helps you communicate with your your soul and the souls of others. The silver blue light is much like the silver blue clouds of the sky. Pause and know you are connected to spirit and your soul, receiving crystal-clear guidance every moment. Breathe.
⁃    Gently trace or tap your nose, cheeks, ears and the back of your head. Up and around your forehead. Your ears. your chin, your jaw.
⁃    Breathe it in the silver blue light. Exhale it out. Pause with your fingers at your 3rd eye.
⁃    Repeat three times, “I AM CONNECTED WITH MY SOUL AND I AM KNOWING.”
⁃    We’re now at the top of your head. Bring both hands up, way up above your head. As far as you can comfortably reach. Feel a violet light filling the space between your hands. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    Visualize a white light with gold flecks extending as far up above your hands as you can imagine. The light takes you places you have never been before. Here you have a divine connection, recall all that your soul knows as truth. Know you are free to release those hidden truths.
⁃    Wiggle your fingers and sprinkle that white light over your body.
⁃    Repeat three times, “I AM COMPLETE AND I AM TRUTHFUL.”
⁃    With your hands extended up above your head, reach up and then bring them out to either side as if in a bubble. See the white light extending out and protecting you. Bring your hands down toward the earth bring them back together in prayer position at your heart center. Rub them together briskly. Place one on each side of your face and open your eyes.
⁃    Repeat your name 3 times. “I AM ____________________.”
⁃    Welcome to the present moment. Be with this moment and know you are and always have been and always will be illuminated from within.

She dreams of escaping on a 2-wheel bicycle. A big girl bike. Perhaps to the place she sees on the television set tuned to one of 3 channels to, “Lassie Come Home.” The rabbit ears on the set adjusted for the best reception. She sits with her legs tucked under her, sitting about a 12 inches away from the tv. The sound turned down low. She is told to sit there and enjoy the show, her baby sister has been put to bed for the night and quiet is a must in the small home. Her hair is brushed neatly and smells of Johnsons baby shampoo. The night gown softly drapes over her knees. The show distracts her from the events of the day. She cranks her head back, totally immersed in the program. The dog, Lassie, is barking at the little boy and jumping up and down with joy. Inside the small rambler is still stifling and sticky.

It was a hot, hot summer day in 1966. One of those days where you could fry an egg on the hood of the red station wagon. Watch it bubble and crinkle around the edges in less than a minute. The preschooler had been outside with her sisters in the blistering sun. The preschooler is the oldest of the three. Her brown hair, lightened by the summer sun, is tied back in a pony tail. Short bangs. She wears a sleeveless dress and white tennies, dirty from being outside every day. One untied because she hasn’t learned to tie her own shoes quiet yet. She’s  5 years old.  Her sister just turned 4 and is dressed in red and navy blue striped shirt with red pants and the same shoes, 2 sizes smaller. Mom says, “Sit down, I have a special treat for you.” The step on the side of the house is hot on her bare legs. She senses the treat isn’t something so special. But she is starving. And hot. Her skin feels hot to the touch and her sisters are both flushed. Mom says, “My mom made this for me when I was little! It’s called sugar water bread.”

Mom hands the little girls each a piece of bread that has been softened with water and sprinkled with sugar. Mom has a remarkable talent for making everything seem fun and exciting. But today was different. No amount of sugar can sweeten the events of the day. Today was the day of the visit to Dr. Hoo.

The family plans to move to a new neighborhood, close to a school where the little girl will start Kindergarten in the fall. And according to regulations, a school check up and vaccinations are needed before starting school. It had to be done. Life is busy. Money is tight. Doctor visits are rare except when vaccinations are necessary or a new baby has arrived.

Mom drives the three girls to the doctor office located in a busy part of town with large, brick homes. She parks the station wagon on the street in front of the home. The doctor has his office in the lower part of this large home. Baby sister is fussy in the heat. She plays with the keys from the car. The preschooler quietly gets out of the car. Having been told, “Be good and do what the doctor says,” several times in the car on the way. Mom, baby sister and little sister walk slowly up the stairs. They enter the screen door, which creaks loudly. Heavy.

They enter the office. It’s hot. Slightly to the left is a receptionist desk. The woman, who has worked for the doctor for only 3 weeks sits behind the desk.  A desk fan oscillating slowly left to right. Left to right. Useless on a 98 degree day. To the right of the desk a heavy wood door stained dark brown. She peers in the darkened room, which seems darker than the waiting room. She smells something that reminds her of the stuff mom uses when the kitchen floor is mopped. Pine disinfectant. But there is an unfamiliar smell – something old and rotten. It reminds her of the time when her dad found a dead mouse under the kitchen sink. Four straight-back chairs set along the wall in a waiting area to the right of the heavy door.

“Hello! We’ve been expecting you.” the reception says with a grin. She wipes the back of her neck with her hand. “I’m ready for rain. Anything to cool off.” Baby sister is fussy. Little sister sees a small box of toys under the table next to the chairs and goes to it. Curious as always. Mom sighs. Relieved the 3-year-old has found something to play with so she can soothe the baby who has refused to nap in the heat for the past few days.

Mom looks at the receptionist with tired eyes. “We have an appointment with the doctor for a school check up and shots.” Her voice is quiet, she hasn’t slept well in the heat and is feeling like she might be coming down with a fever, her throat scratchy. She’s more distracted than usual, having felt a bump in the roof of her mouth this morning while brushing her teeth.

The doctor steps out from inside the exam room. The heavy wooden door creaking loudly. “Oh, you have your hands full, why don’t I take your daughter in while you sit out here with the two little ones? She’ll be fine with me.” Mom hesitates. Looks at her oldest daughter who is looking up at her with pleading eyes that say, “Please don’t leave me.” Mom sighs and then agrees to let her daughter in the exam room alone with the doctor.

30 minutes later, her daughter changed forever. Mom wishes she had gone in the exam room.

At home, the preschooler sits mesmerized by the television show. Mom talks quietly in the kitchen with Dad who has returned home from a long day. The quiet talk turns to murmurs with an occasional accusatory, “Why did you leave her alone with him?” Mom runs out of the kitchen and down the hall. Baby sister is crying, standing up in her crib.

The summer heat has seared the events into the essence of the family. Now and forever running from the truth.

Sacred Geometry Basics and Sacred Name Symbols

Preparing information for a group discussion at Jill Sand Wellness Consultant’s place on February 1st. I feel honored to present information about Sacred Geometry and how I create the Sacred Name Healing Medallions. At the discussion, I will also guide the group through an Illuminated Energy Center meditation.

There is a ton of information out there to be found. My interpretation here is to simplify and apply it to the journey of love and light each of us is worthy of.

SACRED GEOMETRY is an ancient science and a sacred language. It is a key to understanding the way the universe is designed because it is the most fundamental of all the laws of Nature. This language has the ability to balance and inform. Images, designs, glyphs, and symbols provide us with an avenue to awaken archetypal knowledge. The vibration alone is a powerful tool for the subconscious and super-conscious mind to say aha!

The circle represents eternity, unity, oneness, cyclic law, continuity, creation, center, macrocosm, everlasting life. The Circle is a line beginning at a point and traveling in a curve until it returns to the same point; it has no beginning and no end. The true circle is ever-expanding, representing manifestation. It also represents 360 degrees – whole truth, rather than a partial truth of 180 degrees (the triangle).

The line represents the principle of duality, or the law of opposites.

An equal-arm cross represents fairness, balance, justice and equality. The point of intersection in the equal-arm cross represents the heart of balance in our higher nature and lower nature (spirit and matter).

The hexagram (Six Pointed Star) represents the balance of masculine and feminine energies. It is the higher and lower aspects of self merging, blending, integrating and fusing.

Symbols contain a seed of greater benefit, a doorway to the inner realms, revealing a hidden truth to be discovered in divine right time and order. Symbols abound, in nature, dreams, people, situations, answers to questions suggested by the mere offering of the symbol. The presence of a symbol is a type of guiding light, a beacon of illumination heralding the way to higher learning.

I have been practicing geometric designs as a graphic designer for over 30 years. After a series of personal traumas, I  began searching for greater meaning and my soul purpose. I discovered energy medicine and now combine graphic arts with healing arts.

A version of the seed of life was revealed to me in 2014. I combined the Seed of life with an equal-armed cross to create the Aligned with Life symbol. This symbol brings together life with alignment. A heavenly view from above of the top of a magnificent tree. And most importantly, the justice and equality for all to know they are safe and worthy of receiving joy and love.

Every letter of the English alphabet is found in the Aligned with Life Symbol. Therefore, if every letter is found in one symbol,  we are all connected. One symbol represents all words and all names.

I honor the unique individual by morphing the shape to reflect each individual’s sacred essence and guidance from a divine source for the greatest good. Each Sacred Name Symbol begins with the basic shape but then takes on it’s own unique personality reflecting the soul.

Your given name is sacred. The geometric symbol created from the letters of your name expresses a resonance, unique to the needs of your energetic vibrations. You could say each also carries a specific tune.

A medallion was made by transferring the symbol to the wooden disc and color  applied based on a Guidance Card reading. The colors correlated to the energy centers: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and white. Each medallion was infused with the healing sound vibrations of Tibetan Singing bowls. I also encouraged adding a drop of essential oil. The wood welcomes the oil and the fragrance lingers for hours.

A journey to peace. Illumination despite a hostile environment.

In the Illumination Process post, I discussed the stages of illumination. Today’s guidance reveals several other factors effecting the stages and what we can do to help the process in a positive way.

Many are born fully illuminated. They are our greatest teachers. But most go through the illumination process in their own way. Each unique and perfect.

Knowing there are options to know peace, acceptance, gratitude, forgiveness, love and joy is a journey worthy of all.

Pre-illumination Stage:

We start with a simple diagram of an energy being. Much like a glow stick in a package. The 7 energy centers aligned, doing their thing to help us go about the business of daily life. A protective shell, also called the ego, surrounds the energy centers of the energy being. Around the shell is the soul space. The new energy centers waiting in the soul space ready for illumination.

External negative forces include anything and anyone with negative energy. External positive forces include anything and anyone with positive energy.

Ignition Stage:

In a simple scenario where life is calm and ideal, an external negative force breaks through the soul space and snaps the protective shell. The heart center reacts by releasing from the protective shell.

Sensitive Response to Negative Forces:

The above scenario would be ideal. But ,of course, rarely a reality. So, here is an example of what happens when a sensitive energy being comes into the world. There are two different scenarios:

  1. This sensitive being has a regular protective shell  but because of their sensitive nature, they can withstand less negative force
  2. Extremely hostile external environment surrounds the soul space

In both cases, if the heart  releases, it senses the hostile environment and retreats back into the protective shell. The energy being then adds a layer to the protective shell.

Illumination process protective shell thickens. A sensitive being in a hostile environment will add a layer to the protective shell unless changes are made.

Sensitive Response Advanced Stage:

The energy centers within start to dim and shrink with an advanced response to negative forces. There are two different scenarios here as well:

  1. The environment remains hostile
  2. or the energy being interprets the environment as hostile by reviewing negative memories over and over, the shell thickens more.

At this stage the energy being is susceptible to disease, accidents and violence. The negative emotions of anger, denial, remorse, guilt, instability, lack, grief, unworthiness, confusion and others become common. The negative emotions create a state of constant fight or flight. Survival. Creating enough energy within to survive.

If the sensitive being stays in the hostile environment, the shell thickens more and the energy centers shrink and fade.

Internal Decision to Change:

The internal decision to change is prompted by an event that triggers a memory.  This emotional trigger is very, very strong. Strong enough for change to happen from within.

Often times the trigger acts as a recall of the original negative force – such as a childhood memory, ancestral ties, social event or other original source.

The positive outlook and hope for change becomes strong enough to override the adrenaline of the negative emotions. Gratitude.

This decision to change acts to thin the protective shell, attracts positive external forces and the energy centers grow stronger. The heart center enlarges and opens.

A personal example: my son’s enlistment in the military triggered a strong emotional response in me. My hope for his safety was greater than any other adrenaline rush I had survived on. The hope for his safety was directly related to a personal memory. The perfect catalyst for my internal change. My heart opened and I looked for solutions. I found gratitude for the present moment, meditation and Chakra balancing for daily survival. A paradigm shift from within.

An event takes place that triggers an emotional response so strong that it opens the heart center.

Choice — get back on track with illumination or to retreat back into the protective shell:

The energy being makes choices every moment. Move forward or retreat back into the protective shell.

If moving forward, eventually, more and more positive forces surround the soul space. Illuminated beings, positive experiences, guides, angels, earthly angels, teachers, and events. Strong emotions such as love and gratitude override all negative forces

A personal example here is when I was given a “6 months to live” diagnosis. That was over 11 years ago! The love and gratitude I have for my children was stronger than giving up. There must have been self-love as well. I decided to move forward and be with my children instead of leave. I accepted angels, joy, love and peace in my life.

Choice is made to get back on track or regress

Attraction Stage:

If the moving forward, the heart center expands and acts as a magnet, drawing in the new energy centers. The protective shell becomes permeable, allowing positive energy to enter and release.

stage 3. Heart releases and draws in the new energy centers

If retreating into the shell, the cycle repeats itself until the choice is made to move forward.

In my life, I experienced a sense of peace for years after my son enlisted and after the diagnosis. But then my son deployed overseas and I regressed into anger and unworthiness. At that time, I made the choice to retreat into a very dark place. It lasted for several years until I recalled the power within to open my heart.  This most recent decision has attracted a series of divine experiences. I will tell you more about my recent journey of illumination in a separate post.

Alignment Stage:

The new energy centers come into alignment and radiate. The protective shell completely dissolves. The soul space hugs the energy centers closer. Each of the new energy centers radiate an energy so strong and positive that the protective shell is permeable.

Illuminated Stage

The illuminated stage is a simple state of joy, love, safety, wisdom, connection and peace. Energy beings at this stage of illumination spread light every moment now and forever through their thoughts, actions and existence. This stage of illumination has an exponential effect on all.

Meditation for illumination.

Record yourself reading this slowly and then play it back for a better experience.

⁃    Stand with your feet hip-distance apart or with them touching or seated with both feet on the ground. Whatever feels best to you.
⁃    Close your eyes. Roll your shoulders back.
⁃    Balance the right and left hemispheres of your brain. The masculine and feminine energies. Place your hands in prayer position in front of your heart. Press your thumbs into your sternum at the center of your chest.
⁃    Bend your knees slightly. Come up on the balls of your feet and then place your heels lightly on the floor.
⁃    Imagine a string pulling the top of your head up to the sky. Your spine aligning gently like a strand of beautiful pearls on the side of a strong, majestic tree.
⁃    Connect with your light within. With each breath go deeper and deeper within yourself. Feel the warm light.
⁃    Take 3 deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
⁃    Open your eyes. If you feel dizzy, please sit down.
⁃    Starting from the top of your head, tap or pat lightly from the top of your head all the way down your face, neck, arms, body, legs and down to your feet.
⁃    Pause at your feet. Breathe. Visualize a warm red light.
⁃    That warm red light extends like roots from the bottom of your feet into the earth. Your roots give stability to the earth. Feel safe and secure.
⁃    Repeat. “I AM SAFE. I AM MOVING FORWARD” three times.
⁃    Bring that warm red light up the roots through your feet and up your legs. Pat your feet and legs all the way up to your belly button. Pat. Pat. Pat.
⁃    Rest both of your hands on your belly button. Visualize an orange light. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    Here at the belly button, know you are nourished and intuitively know what you need every moment.
⁃    Repeat “I AM INSPIRED AND I AM NOURISHED.” three times.
⁃    Bring your hands out in front of you with your palms facing up. Feel a yellow light. Pause. breathe
⁃    With the yellow light, manifest all you need and know you are worthy. Accept it into every part of your being. Bring your hands together in gratitude.
⁃    Repeat “I AM WORTHY AND I AM STRONG.” three times. Pause. Breathe
⁃    Bring your hands now to your heart. Visualize the color green. Pause with your hands at your heart center at the center of your chest. Breathe.
⁃    Feel the green color within you. It fills your lungs with each breath. And with each breath it radiates out like the branches of a magnificent tree. Visualize the green light extending out as far as you can imagine and further. You are receiving unconditional love, peace and compassion.
⁃    Move your hands out and up as if they are the branches of a beautiful tree. The green leaves giving life. Sway and soar with the air currents.
⁃    Repeat three times “I AM LOVED. I AM ACCEPTED.”
⁃    Bring your hands up each arm, wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a hug. Receive that green light full of unconditional love and compassion. Pause. Breathe it all in.
⁃    Move your hands up to your face. Place a hand on each cheek. Visualize a silver blue light. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    This silver blue light radiates out from your 3rd eye. Visualize  the silver blue light that helps you communicate with your your soul and the souls of others. The silver blue light is much like the silver blue clouds of the sky. Pause and know you are connected to spirit and your soul, receiving crystal-clear guidance every moment. Breathe.
⁃    Gently trace or tap your nose, cheeks, ears and the back of your head. Up and around your forehead. Your ears. your chin, your jaw.
⁃    Breathe it in the silver blue light. Exhale it out. Pause with your fingers at your 3rd eye.
⁃    Repeat three times, “I AM CONNECTED WITH MY SOUL AND I AM KNOWING.”
⁃    We’re now at the top of your head. Bring both hands up, way up above your head. As far as you can comfortably reach. Feel a violet light filling the space between your hands. Pause. Breathe.
⁃    Visualize a white light with gold flecks extending as far up above your hands as you can imagine. The light takes you places you have never been before. Here you have a divine connection, recall all that your soul knows as truth. Know you are free to release those hidden truths.
⁃    Wiggle your fingers and sprinkle that white light over your body.
⁃    Repeat three times, “I AM PEACEFUL AND I AM TRUTHFUL.”
⁃    With your hands extended up above your head, reach up and then bring them out to either side as if in a bubble. See the white light extending out and protecting you. Bring your hands down toward the earth bring them back together in prayer position at your heart center. Rub them together briskly. Place one on each side of your face and open your eyes.
⁃    Repeat your name 3 times. “I AM ____________________.”
⁃    Welcome to the present moment. Be with this moment and know you are and always have been and always will be illuminated from within.
